Rev. Dr. John W. Yates III
John W. Yates III became rector of Holy Trinity in September 2010. Having grown up in N. Virginia, he attended the University of Virginia before moving to London, England, where he served as Study Assistant to the well-known Anglican theologian, John Stott, from 1996-1999. John went on to earn an MA in Theology from King’s College, London, an MDiv. from Trinity School for Ministry, Ambridge, PA, and a PhD in New Testament from Cambridge University, England.
John was ordained to the priesthood in March 2004. He first served as Assistant to the Dean of the Chapel at Clare College, Cambridge, from 2004 to 2006. He then served as Clergy Associate for Adult Discipleship at Church of the Good Samaritan, Paoli, PA, from 2007 to 2010.
John is married to Alysia and they have four children: Sylvia, Isabel, Jack and Alexander.

Rev. Claudia Dickson Greggs
CLERGY ASSOCIATE FOr Christian FORMATION
Claudia grew up in Detroit, went to college in Boston, and after moving to New York City heard the gospel preached like never before and turned in faith to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. She attended the Yale Divinity School in New Haven, Connecticut, graduating in 1987, and was ordained the following year.
Claudia served as Curate and Chaplain of St. Thomas’s Episcopal Church and Day School in New Haven for four years and then as Assistant to the Provost at Christ Church Cathedral in Hartford, Connecticut for three. In 1994 she married the Rev. Dr. Gil Greggs and moved to North Carolina – finding at last her true home. In Raleigh she served as an Associate Rector of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church for eleven years.
Before joining the staff of Holy Trinity Church in September 2014, Claudia served as Interim Rector of Church of the Holy Cross, our sister church. Helping people find abundant life in Jesus Christ is her passion in ministry. She and Gil have two children, Caleb and Emily, and a son-in-law, Andrew.
Paul grew up in suburban Washington, D.C., but has lived most of his adult life in St. Louis and Kansas City. He has degrees in music from Oberlin College and Washington University (St. Louis), and has spent a year in Amsterdam studying under a Fulbright grant. Paul has served in church music ministry for around 25 years. He is married to Cynthia, also an accomplished musician, and they have two grown daughters, Robin and Consie.

Trinity Kids Director
Robin grew up in St. Louis and Kansas City, and went to school in Moscow, Idaho, where she received her B.A. in Liberal Arts & Culture from New St. Andrews College. After graduating, she taught music at a local school for three years, took music classes at the University of Idaho, and was active in music and ministry in her Church. Robin has a deep commitment to loving and equipping children for ministry as growing disciples of Jesus Christ. In additon, she recently earned her Master of Music Education in Choral Pedagogy (2012) from Kansas University.

Originally from New Jersey, Susan received a bachelor’s degree from Susquehanna University and an M.A. from Bucknell. Susan and her husband, John, were founding members of Holy Trinity Church. She was called to her present position at Holy Trinity in July, 2005. The Finches live in Raleigh and have four boys.

Anne grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from Duke University with a degree in economics. She worked as a commercial banker and bank product manager for several years. She and her husband Stuart have called Raleigh their home for nearly 20 years and have two daughters, Lindsay and Grace. She now enjoys balancing her part-time work at Holy Trinity Church with her family responsibilities. Anne loves to play tennis and swim in her free time.

Deacon/North Carolina Study Center
Matt serves as a deacon at Holy Trinity and as Programming Director at the North Carolina Study Center in Chapel Hill. Originally hailing from Charlotte, Matt is a 2012 graduate of UNC (BA, History and Religious Studies)and Duke Divinity School (M.Div.). During the past few years, he has been blessed to be a part of ‘the North Street neighborhood,’ an intentional Christian living community in Durham which brings together people with and without intellectual/developmental disabilities for a shared common life.

After graduating from the University of Virginia with a degree in History (and a passion for the arts), Abigail participated in the Trinity Fellows Program in Charlottesville, VA. Since then, she has worked in child advocacy in D.C. as well as received her Master of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School. In addition to her work with New City Fellows, Abigail directs Trinity Arts, leads worship and serves with Holy Trinity’s prayer and healing ministries.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR & LEAD TEACHER
Katherine conceived and launched the Gotham Fellows program at Redeemer in NYC in 2008 to equip young leaders with a deep experience of the gospel and understanding of how it shapes all of life and work. After 9 years and more than 250 alumni, this fellowship of professionals is engaging every area of public life with the truth and love of the gospel. She founded and directed Redeemer’s Center for Faith & Work from 2002-2012 and assisted Tim Keller in the writing of Every Good Endeavor.
