Raleigh Breakfast Club gathers for good food and great discussion about topics that matter to men. These short series (typically 4-6 weeks) are open to all men and feature short talks on a range of topics relevant to our calling as men. Our goal is to become better men, the men God created and calls us to be. We are discovering that this is only possible through the person of Jesus Christ. We invite you to join us!
RBC will resume in September 2017

WHAT DO MEN REALLY WANT?
What do men really want? Power? Sex? Money? Perhaps. But most of us are suspicious of these kinds superficial answers offered in Super Bowl ads, action movies and social media. The truth is that despite active and productive lives, we often feel unfulfilled and unsettled by life’s bigger questions. So where can we turn? Most men are skeptical that the Christian faith can help them. In their experience, religion has been unconvincing and weak.
But maybe its time to reconsider the Christian faith. What if the Christian faith can actually provide us as men with compelling answers to our questions about purpose, satisfaction, freedom, and hope? No matter where you’re coming from, Raleigh Breakfast Club invites you to join us for a 6-week series on “What Men Really Want.”
Our series will be based on Tim Keller's newest book, "Making Sense of God." This is an outstanding read for those who are skeptical about the Christian faith as well as Christians who are uncertain about what they believe. Reading the book is optional and can be purchased here.
A MAN'S JOURNEY
Where is your life going? What are you living for? Are you living for the next rung on the ladder, the next paycheck or the next weekend? As men we want more. We want purpose and significance but many of us feel aimless and uncertain, especially in our spiritual lives. We need a faith that inspires us with a worthy destination and is essential for the journey. Join us for our new RBC series as we explore life and faith as a purposeful and challenging journey that can transform how we live as men.

THE WAR WITHIN
Most men don’t like to talk about their problems. I’ve spoken with men who were struggling mightily in their personal life and no one knew, not even their closest friends or their spouse. Instead they maintained a double life, working hard to keep their personal battles hidden for fear of being judged as weak, inadequate or a failure.
But we can't win the war within if we choose to ignore, deny, or even embrace our vices. If we do, we do so at the cost of our calling as men. We do so at the cost of our children, our wives, and our friends. We do so at the cost of our vital relationship with God.
Each Tuesday in November we'll tackle one key battle that we as men face and ask how Christ can help us as men experience real victory in The War Within.
