A special Sunday for Worship & Service
This Sunday following worship we'll be helping serve Sunday Supper to 1,000 folks in the heart of downtown to raise funds for flood victims in eastern North Carolina. The event is sold out, but there's still opportunities to serve.
We're asking everyone to dress casually for worship so we're ready to go to work! Jeans and your volunteer t-shirt would be perfect!
10am - Worship Together
11am - Foundations
12am - Volunteers gather for final instructions and head to Fayetteville Street!
1-4pm - The Sunday Supper event
We have more than 175 volunteers ready to serve but it's not too late to join us. If you haven't registered as a volunteer just come ready to work and join the fun!
We are making a financial contribution to the fund for flood victims as well. Simply send your gift to Holy Trinity or include it with our Sunday offering. Just be sure to put "Flood Relief" in the memo of your check.
More about the event...
The Sunday Supper is a ticketed, pre-sold seated meal for 1,000 people at a community table down Fayetteville Street between Morgan and Martin Streets. A website will provide e-tickets for 1,000 table seats and an opportunity to donate individually and corporately. Proceeds from the 1,000 tickets and corporate sponsor dollars raised will go to the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund for Hurricane Matthew (a tax-deductible 501c3) to support short and long-term recovery efforts to repair and rebuild communities damaged or destroyed in central and eastern North Carolina.
Let's come together as a church and help serve The Sunday Supper!
